ABOUT ANDY HUGHES
Originally from Yorkshire, Andy's studies in Fine Art and Photography led him from Cardiff Uni to London's hallowed Royal College of Art. Collating his experiences as a British surfer and his journey in the world of Contemporary Art, Andy has developed a unique and crucial body of work focussing on the relationship between plastic pollution and the ocean. Never has a subject been so current and relevant to the surf community. On top of exhibiting worldwide and working with Surfers Against Sewage, the Tate and National Geographic amongst others, Andy has produced two books collecting essays from leading scientists to explore the themes in his photography.
